Prof. Alvaro Romano and his son Prof.Raphael Romano are in town for another great week of GB Countryside’s Summer Camp.

Prof.Alvaro is the current physical trainer of no one less than Rodrigo “Minotauro” Nogueira and prof.Raphael is the physical trainer of several BJJ and MMA champions in Rio de Janeiro Brazil.

Both Prof.Alvaro and Prof.Raphael held the rank of Black belts in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu under master Carlos Gracie Jr and with their experience fighting and training fighters they are here in GB Countryside with the second part of our Camp with loads to offer to all our members and guests.

Our first week of GB Countryside Summer Camp couldn’t be better!!

according to Prof. Ortega : “our strategy to bring the best of the best to our school is working! Usually on summer months many teens and children students take a break and interrupt their training which is not good for their development in BJJ. We decide to offer this summer camp with some of the best fighters and intructors in the world to pump up the interest of these students and the response couldn’t be better.”

Prof Ortega added: ” We are not only picking up the interest of our kids but also our senior students are hooked by these vibrant events that are taking place in GB Countryside”

The celebrations took place in GB Countryside with a evening of promotions before Prof.Ominami head back to Japan on last friday,congratulations to all students that recieved their gradings highlighting Pete Buinaskas,Matt Pena(Yellow Belts) and Kevin Kelinher (Blue Belt)
